The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would be a good addition once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
